This Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be handled when you use PrestaHacks.
1. Data controller
PrestaHacks is operated by Goosialize Ltd, Cyprus.
Privacy contact: agency@goosialize.com
2. Data we may process
Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
- information you send to us by email, such as your name, email address and message;
- technical server logs that may contain IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent and security/error information;
- an email address and consent record if a newsletter subscription feature is enabled and you choose to subscribe;
- browser-side preferences used by the interface, where applicable.
Do not send passwords, API keys, database credentials or customer datasets through general contact email.
3. Why we process data
Personal data may be processed to:
- respond to messages and requests;
- operate, secure and troubleshoot the website;
- prevent abuse and investigate technical incidents;
- deliver requested email communications where you have subscribed;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
The legal basis depends on the processing activity and may include consent, steps requested before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations or legitimate interests such as operating and securing the website.
4. Newsletter
A newsletter is sent only when the relevant subscription functionality is active and you have submitted your email through that process.
Where marketing email relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
5. Service providers
We may use service providers needed to host, secure or operate the website and to handle communications. They may process data on our behalf only to the extent required for those services.
We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, legal, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements where applicable.
Email correspondence may be retained while the enquiry or relationship remains relevant. Newsletter data, when applicable, is retained until you unsubscribe or the data is no longer required, subject to any limited records that must be kept to document compliance.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to:
- access your personal data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request erasure;
- restrict processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive portable data in applicable cases;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise a right, contact agency@goosialize.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or another competent supervisory authority.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the website and the information processed. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. External links
Articles may link to third-party websites and documentation. Their privacy practices are controlled by those third parties and are not covered by this policy.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the site's functionality, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
